Privacy Policy

Vantage collects and stores two pieces of PII for the purposes of authentication:

• Email
• Username

In addition to the PII values, Vantage retains user trace logs that retain your historical activity on the site. We also retain server logs which include the IP address of every request to our server.

Your Email and Username are used to personalize your experience in Vantage and to establish ownership of any entities (Job Scripts, License Server Configurations, Clusters, etc) that you create in Vantage. Trace logs are used for:

• Triaging errors by tracing user activity around the time of an incident
• Improving our site by finding and optimizing hotspots, streamlining workflows, and identifying under-used features
• Enhancing customer service by allowing us to discover more detail about any incidents you may report

We maintain best practices in securing our platform, including:

• Limit access to user data to only platform administrators
• Follow recommended settings for OIDC access control
• Store user data in access-controlled data stores
• Use HTTPS to transmit request data

We retain user PII while an account is active in Vantage. When a user's account is deleted from the Vantage platform we will immediately perform the following actions.

• Remove all your personal user information from our system
• Purge all your user trace logs from our system

Yes, we use a cookie to keep your session active for 24 hours. Your username and email address are stored in a cookie and an access token that grants your browser access to the Vantage APIs. No additional user information is stored. We do not use any tracking cookies whatsoever, nor do we share user information with any third-party services.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.

Our site, products, and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. If this server is in the USA, and you are under the age of 13, per the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Link), do not use this site.

This privacy policy applies only to information collected through the Vantage site and app and not to information collected through other Omnivector services or sites.
